A new sports area for mountain-bike enthusiasts in Glâne!
A new facility for mountain-bike enthusiasts throughout the region has just been added to the region’s existing 210 km of mountain-bike trails. The mountain-bike obstacle course is located in the forests of Montagne de Lussy, above Romont.
The new facility is around 5 km long, with 13 obstacles created beside the existing trails and with barely any drop, allowing an extension to the existing forest trails without affecting them.
The new trail offers a fun opportunity to try out mountain-biking. It will be accessible all year round for cyclists of all ages. There are several possible start points: Combloney, Cabane de Villaz-St-Pierre and Cabane de Lussy.
There are information boards for mountain-bikers at the three start points. Families and visitors from Romont and the region will enjoy the picnic sites and leisure activities close to the trail.
