The walls of Rue have ears and stories to tell.
Unlock the town’s doors and embark on an immersive journey of light and sound, where stories, legends and fascinating anecdotes intertwine. From Napoleon’s armies passing through to Ferdinand Ferber’s flying machines, and the room of Rue’s last witch, five unique locations await you, taking you from the village to the medieval castle perched on the hill.
The enchanting animations created by Fribourg artists Samuel Embleton and Arnow bring a magical and humorous world to life, with something for both children and adults to enjoy.
How does it work?
With a key collected at the beginning of the tour, unlock the doors to hidden places throughout the town of Rue and its castle. Magical animations will transport you on a journey through the centuries, revealing the history of Europe’s smallest town.
Opening hours: Monday to Sunday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm – Last departure at 5:30 pm
Duration: Approximately 90 minutes
