On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, historical sites open their doors to you. Come and discover the heritage of the Glâne region at the Vitromusée Romont!
The stained glass, an art for the museum?
The stained glass windows of the Vitromusée Romont, beautifully housed in the town's castle, are intrinsically linked to an architecture that, while not always at risk, is at least in constant evolution.
The visit will focus on the crucial role of the workshop archives of the master glassmakers. These include sketches, models, and full-scale templates, and are essential for the study and documentation of this Swiss heritage from the 20th century.
