In response to the exhibition Némésis végétale by Sève Favre, the Swiss Wallpaper Museum is hosting a conference dedicated to the challenges of invasive plants and the preservation of local biodiversity.
How do invasive exotic plants transform our landscapes and what measures are being implemented to limit their spread? Gilles Gay des Combes, project manager for Nature, Landscape & GIS at the Gruyère Pays-d’Enhaut Regional Nature Park, will address this issue through concrete examples and present the realities of the fight on the ground.
The conference will be followed at 3:15 PM by a guided tour of the exhibition Némésis végétale with the artist Sève Favre. An opportunity to intersect scientific and artistic approaches and to discover the ecological and historical challenges related to invasive plants.
