The launch of the 2027 medal will take place on Saturday, 7 November 2026 at 10:45 am at the Postplatz in Romont.
The Carnival season officially begins with the unveiling of the medal. During this event, in addition to the new medal, the new princely couple is presented to the public, who will reign over the city for the entire year.
Programme
10:45 AM: Parade of Guggens starting at Place du Midi, heading towards the upper part of Grand-Rue, ending at Place de la Poste.
11:11 AM: Presentation of the new princely couple by the Bouf'folles. Followed by the unveiling and sale of the Carnival medal.
