Barefoot path : discover unique sensations !
This garden in Villarimboud near Romont has a very special layout.
The visit begins on the grass, then follows a sandy path, treads on gravel of varying degrees of coarseness, climbs through moss, crosses a river, wades through mud, and ends in a plant tunnel where birds converse and butterflies fly under your nose. And best of all, you can visit the entire garden without shoes! It's an opportunity to rediscover forgotten sensations and discover these textures through the soles of bare feet.
The path is dotted with perennial plant species from every continent, well-known or forgotten vegetables, several thousand trees and unusual aromatic plants: have you ever smelled the chocolate-scented geranium? The tour guide is also the creator of this park full of surprises.
At the end of the walk - which lasts 1.5 hours - everyone gets busy around the farm's pond to get back to civilized life! The experience is accessible to all, and there are no difficulties whatsoever: children aged 4 and over are welcome.
A good time is guaranteed! An idea for visitors coming from further afield: the trail is located next to a treehotel and invites you to sleep there...
