Welcome to Chalet Schwendli, your lovingly renovated temporary home nestled amidst the stunning Gantrisch mountains. This over 300-year-old alpine hut was completely renovated in 2021, preserving its original character while incorporating modern, high-quality details. The result is a unique retreat for up to 9 people that harmoniously blends tradition, comfort, and the natural surroundings.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with a dining and living area, as well as a bathroom with a toilet. A special highlight is the former stable, which now serves as a cozy living room: the three-sided glass-fronted stove creates a warm, atmospheric ambiance—perfect for relaxing evenings after an active day. For younger guests, there’s a dedicated playroom right next to the kitchen.
A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor with four bedrooms, all furnished with comfortable double beds. Two bathrooms—one of which is en-suite in the master bedroom—offer additional comfort for families and groups.
Lush alpine meadows stretch out around the chalet, coming alive in summer with grazing cows and lending your stay a particularly authentic touch. From the outdoor area, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Kaiseregg, the striking local mountain towering over Schwarzsee. The region offers numerous activities in both summer and winter: hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, or leisurely walks—everything is within easy reach.
The chalet features free Wi-Fi, private parking, a terrace, and a garden with mountain views. Towels and linens are provided.
