The artist will be present at the opening and closing events, as well as on Saturday 14 November and 5 December 2026 from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
“Through my painting, I capture impressions and moods from nature and my surroundings, and aim to radiate a zest for life. I am particularly fascinated by water. Its surface is very smooth and acts like a natural mirror. Water offers many visual stimuli, which I capture and reflect in my paintings. I am inspired by upside-down landscapes, water lily ponds, and mountain ranges reflected in lakes… However, my subjects also include plants, flowers, birds and people.
For me, painting means: authenticity – not searching, but finding – never stopping, always beginning.”

Heinrich Abt
The artist will be present at the opening and closing events, as well as on Saturdays 14, 21 and 28 November 2026 from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
“I create bowls, vases, vessels and sculptures from local deciduous trees. My objects reflect the uniqueness of the tree from which they are made. I work the pieces of wood on the lathe whilst they are still green.
I then allow them to dry slowly under very specific conditions. During this process, each object develops its own individual and often surprising form.”
