Number 4 of Rue’s historical tour.
This is one of the oldest constructions, probably linked to the origins of the village. It was modified from around 1551 to 1557. The house has retained most of its late Gothic structure.
In 1886, Marie-Laure Maublanc de Chiseuil, the wife of Jules de Maillardoz, purchased it in order to house priests, who remained there until 1960.
In 2004 the new owners, Marianne and Marcel Dorthe, restored the “Chapellenie de Maillardoz” to create a living space for themselves, a cultural centre and a painting workshop.
Private property
At the back of the “Chapellenie”, in the garden, you can admire some works by the owner Marcel Dorthe, who authorises access.
