Stained glass of Yoki and reverse glass painting of Emilio Beretta
The parish church in Mézières was built by the Romont architect Fernand Dumas in 1939. Glass is everywhere: inside the church, on the altars, the communion table, the pulpit and the chandeliers.
Behind the altar is a huge reverse glass painting by Emilio Beretta, depicting an angel delivering Peter the Apostle. The 34 windows in the nave are adorned with stained glass by Yoki. Together, the abstract designs form a large, colourful panel.
