The bike tour starts in the medieval Zähringer town of Murten and then continues along rural and traffic-calmed paths in the direction of Faoug. After a few kilometers you reach Salavaux. Here you will find one of the longest natural freshwater sandy beaches in Europe. An ascent, which requires some stamina and strength in the calves, goes across the vineyards up to Mont Vully. The range of hills north of Lake Morat offers a fantastic view of the Alps and the Jura. The route touches here among other things the Seeland, known as the largest vegetable garden in Switzerland. From there, the flat terrain leads back to the starting point in Murten.
