This international music festival has become the second most important event of its kind in Switzerland.
This year the festival will take place at the Swiss National Stud SNG in Avenches.
Military Tattoos are common in Northern Europe and are becoming increasingly popular in Switzerland. The only event of its kind in French-speaking Switzerland, Avenches Tattoo brings together nearly 500 musicians - military and civilian - from all over Europe and sometimes from other continents.
The invited bands, all of high musical and choreographic level, present spectacular shows that make the arena vibrate and arouse the enthusiasm of the public. Whether on popular or modern melodies, the musicians, as true virtuosos of their art, produce a colorful show with evolutions of a phenomenal precision.
