The StradivariTrio brings together three outstanding musicians for a concert devoted entirely to the string trio repertoire.
The evening begins with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Serenade in D major, Op. 8, a work in seven movements featuring a march, adagio, minuet, scherzo, polonaise and variations.
This is followed by Ernst von Dohnányi’s Serenade in C major, Op. 10, before the programme continues with Beethoven and his String Trio in G major, Op. 9 No. 1. The work consists of four movements and concludes with a Presto.
Three works, performed by the Stradivari Trio in the intimate setting of Château Salavaux, bathed entirely in the glow of countless candles.
