Jolanda Steiner and the Taschensymphoniker have conjured up a magical family concert with music by Humperdinck and other pieces – full of music, adventure, and magic!
In the 1890s, Adelheid Wette and Engelbert Humperdinck turned it into an enchanting opera with cheerful music and well-known folk songs. Hansel and Gretel get lost in the forest and find a tempting gingerbread house. But it belongs to the lazy witch “Leckermaul,” who wants to feed them sweet treats—only to eat them herself later! Fortunately, the animals of the forest come to their aid. Help outsmart the witch so that Hansel and Gretel can find their way back home to their father.
