This year, the Festival celebrates its anniversary of light: a symbolic moment to revive memories engraved during past editions and create new ones. The city is decked out in its finest light-filled attire, ready to welcome loyal visitors and newcomers alike.

During 12 days, the Old Town of Murten is going to turn into a lighting show of superlatives. The artistic productions on buildings, in the streets and on the towers of the town will immerse the visitors into a mysterious and magic world.
During the light festival, the old town and the surroundings of Murten are staged with various light animations by regional and international artists. Every evening, visitors can experience the ultimate sound and light show during a tour lasting several hours.
