Discover the Swiss National Stud, a center of expertise dedicated to horses
The Swiss National Stud of Agroscope invites you to discover its work with horses, its artisanal expertise, and its research projects related to the equine world – all within a unique historical setting in Switzerland.
This year, the Open Day at the Stud will take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, starting at 3:00 p.m.
The event will begin with a presentation of ongoing research projects and a visit to the Stud’s workshops, which will be open to the public for the occasion.
The afternoon will conclude with an equestrian show in the main courtyard, showcasing the versatility of Franches-Montagnes stallions.
The Swiss Franches-Montagnes Federation (FSFM) and the Swiss Sport Horse Breeding Federation (FECH) will actively participate in the demonstration, alongside young FM breeders.
