The Association for the Development of the Murten Region SEM is hosting a Perseids Night on 12 August 2025 from 9:30 PM at the Pantschau in Murten. Come along to watch the spectacle of shooting stars!
The event will only go ahead if the weather is good. On 12 August at 2 p.m., SEM will post on its website to let everyone know if the event is still on.
Programme:
• 09:30 PM: Welcome by District Prefect Christoph Wieland
• 10:00 PM : Short conference on the Perseids phenomenon
• 10:30 PM : Observation of the shooting stars
You'll also be able to check out telescopes so you can see the Moon, planets and star clusters.
