“Planet of Hope” is a documentary about visions and utopias, set within a brief narrative framework. In the year 2430, two Swiss astronauts travel back in time to offer new perspectives to a world that has lost its balance in the year 2020. Through insightful discussions with the inhabitants of Earth, they work together to develop new, hopeful models of society for shaping the future. In this way, humanity is to be guided out of a global depression and towards a hopeful future.
