Pure Schumann, Nordic soundscapes and youthful virtuosity: Manoush Toth plays with the Göttinger Symphonieorchester for an emotional, passionate and magical evening. A must-see!
At the heart of this evening are Clara and Robert Schumann, one of the most famous artistic couples in the history of music. Their works bear witness to a closeness that was both personal and creative: Robert's passionate overture to The Bride of Messina meets Clara's piano concerto, composed when she was still in her teens - a work that is fresh, virtuosic and assertive.
After the interval, the gaze turns north: Leevi Madetoja's Second Symphony blends Finnish soundscapes with impressionist touches - between tradition and renewal.
Another highlight: Manoush Toth, winner of the Valiant Forum 2024, embodies the transmission of musical passion across generations.
Conducted by Christoph-Mathias Mueller, the Göttinger Symphonieorchester brings to life a programme of great emotional and artistic richness.
