This sport and culture trail connects the Roman museums of Vallon and Avenches.
From Avenches and its Roman Museum, it takes just under 45 minutes to reach the Roman Museum of Vallon.
This easy route begins in the direction of the Swiss National Stud, a freely accessible site featuring an educational trail about its activities. It is also home to the largest stork colony in French-speaking Switzerland, with over 100 individuals.
After walking alongside the motorway for a short distance, you'll follow the main road for 400 meters before joining quiet country paths that run along the Broye River, leading you to Vallon and its Roman Museum.
