The podcast project 'Prefer Cats' immerses us in the childhood of a boy from Mézières (FR) between the 1950s and 1970s, and then in his move from the Fribourg countryside to the city.
Throughout its journey, the narrative evokes the rural exodus experienced by many young men and women in Switzerland during the Glorious Thirties.
On the occasion of the 20 Hours of Music in Romont, the podcast's author will offer a musical reading of excerpts from “Preferring Cats”, accompanied by Ent’s, the solo musical project of Swiss percussionist and composer Luca Musy.
