A stroll among stained glass, autumn landscapes and Fribourg specialities.
Hiking · Gourmet breaks · Bénichon · Autumn
This autumn, embark on the Path of Stained Glass - 16 km or 10 km / 4 h 30 or 2 h 45
As you follow this hilly route, embark on a discovery of stunning stained glass windows nestled in an enchanting setting, from churches to chapels. A perfect stroll to enjoy the autumn landscapes while uncovering the treasures of our region's heritage.
And to add rhythm to your stroll, two breaks await you along the way:
A break with the flavours of Bénichon
In Romont, stop at the Boulangerie Dubey-Grandjean and taste their Bénichon sandwich. An original way to rediscover the emblematic flavours of the Fribourg festival.
Take the opportunity to explore the monastic shop of the Abbaye de la Fille-Dieu, where you can purchase Bénichon mustard.
A sweet treat to finish
In Mézières, take a break at the Tea-Room Jonin and indulge in a small Amandine or another autumnal sweet treat.
You get to choose your pace, your loop, and your breaks to create your day.
