1473 as " magnum bornellum " mentions. 1504 calls stone fountain of Kreuzgasse. 1549 by stone-cutter Anthonj spirit renews. In 1768 transfer of the fountain to facilitate the access to Kreuzgasse. In 1997 restores by stone sculptor master Daniel Burla, Murten.
