Torn and glued dialogues – collages at the Pellegrini Gallery
From 10 to 26 July 2026, Christina Guidon-Deflorin will be exhibiting her latest collages on the theme of ‘Dialogue’. The works engage in a dialogue with visitors, the artist and the space, whilst viewers themselves strike up conversations with one another. Colour and form, too, converse with one another. As a speech therapist, improving the ability of children, young people and adults to engage in dialogue was a central concern for the artist. She achieved success not through force, but through a keen sense of possibilities. Now she is transferring this interest in dialogue to her artistic expression. She lets her collages speak. On Sunday, 19 July at 11.00 am, the Baden-based historian Pia Rutishauser will engage in an in-depth dialogue with the artist at the gallery, where the mutual influence of life and work will also be discussed, representing a further level of dialogue. The opening will take place on 10 July at 6.30 pm. Dialogue necessitates and brings about engagement with an other. Opening on 10 July from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm Artist talk on 19 July from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm with moderator Pia Rutishauser Opening hours: Wednesday from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, Saturday/Sunday from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm
