The Swiss Read Aloud Day is a national event that takes place every year on a Wednesday at the end of May.
It aims to highlight the beauty and importance of reading aloud. Reading regularly to children and young people creates wonderful moments of sharing and supports them in their development. Children who have the opportunity to listen to stories every day have a richer vocabulary and learn to read and write more easily.
