The soloist competition will take place for the 12th time in 2026. This year, young violinists will compete for one of three coveted places in the public prize winners' concert with orchestra. The prize winners' concert will help the jury make their final decision. Cheer on the candidates, keep your fingers crossed and enjoy the breadth of talent displayed by these gifted young musicians.
The promotion of young musicians is a central element of the artistic objectives of the Murten Classics Summer Festival. In collaboration with Valiant Bank, Murten Classics has been running the Valiant Forum, a competition for young musicians, for 26 years.
