Our office is located in the heart of the old town of Murten, on the Hauptgasse.
Murten Tourism is a non-profit association that was founded in 1895. What are the tasks of Murten Tourism and what does the association offer?
- To welcome visitors, inform them, help and advise them (various brochures, leaflets and flyers can be consulted and taken from the office).
- sell tickets for events
- Promote the sights of the region
- Organize or participate in events (e.g. Murten Light Festival, Circuit Secret Murten Licht, Murten On Ice, Organic Delights in Murten, slowUp, etc.)
- Guided tours in the old town (guided by a professional), various trails and a treasure hunt.
- Poster service (Bring your event posters to our office and we will gladly post them for you at 35 locations around Lake Murten).
- Offer: cruises, bike tours, hiking, water sports, shopping, group activities, guided tours, treasure hunt, visit with the "Stedtlibummler". Come and see us to find out more.
The tourist office is closed on public holidays.
