We love to inflate it, hold it on a string, and sometimes even see it fly: but all it takes is to give it a nose for the balloon to transform into a funny and very expressive character. It becomes a magical being that, like us, goes on adventures, meets new friends, and often finds itself upside down!
The Théâtre l’Articule takes the balloon on an aerial journey in search of balance and serendipitous discoveries, created by gravity and the movement of the actress-acrobat’s body. A poetic reflection on transformation and curiosity, between puppet and contemporary circus.
