Barco solar
Friburgo tiene un lago, y no sólo desde ayer. El lago de Schiffenen se creó en 1963. Ahora bien, gracias a la embarcación de doce plazas «d’Grandfey», propulsada por energía solar, este puede disfrutarse en todo su esplendor de mayo hasta finales de octubre. Durante un viaje de una hora y media entre Friburgo y Schiffenen (los domingos también se ofrecen viajes de ida y vuelta de una hora), podrá disfrutar de un cambio de perspectiva y aprender mucho sobre la presa, la ermita de la Magdalena, los puentes, los castillos y la naturaleza. Desde 2024, también se ofrecen regularmente viajes temáticos, como catas de vino o cerveza o viajes de cuentos de hadas para niños. El barco solar también se puede reservar para realizar una excursión privada.
The city of Fribourg did not always have a lake. The Lake Schiffenen was created in 1963 when the dam which shares its name was constructed. The 12-seater solar-powered boat ‘d’Grandfey’ is a great way to explore this scenic lake in all its glory from May to end of October. During the 1.5 hour cruise (1 hour round trip on Sundays), you can admire the beautiful natural scenery and learn more about the dam, the Madeleine Hermitage, the natural environment and the many bridges and castles that dot the region’s landscape. Since 2024, themed trips are also offered regularly, such as wine or beer tastings or fairytale trips for children. The boat can also be booked for private parties.
