Preserving Fribourg’s heritage
In Fribourg Region, living traditions are still strong rooted in the daily life of its inhabitants. Their value for social cohesion is recognised and awareness of cultural heritage is part of the school curriculum. Customs are also appreciated by visitors from all over the world, who often witness scenes that seem to originate from a bygone age.
