We experience the nourishing and heart-opening effect of singing together catchy, polyphonic songs from different cultures and spiritual traditions around the world. The songs bring with them ‘medicinal power’. We allow ourselves to be touched by this power – while singing and in the silence afterwards. We connect with the power and quality of the season: a time of letting go, retreating to our roots, drawing on the strength of our ancestors, finding peace, light in the darkness, trusting in the unknown, bathing in sound... Your own concerns and topics are welcome, as are song requests. We sing along to songs from the YouTube channel ‘Musik Duenda’ and also songs from the singing and peace project www.stimmvolk.ch/unsere-lieder.
A day to simply be, to gain inspiration for everyday life, to draw strength for the dark season. No previous singing or musical experience is necessary.
