Guardian dogs are used in Switzerland to protect the herd from wolves or lynx.
Nowadays, around 200 guardian dogs are protecting herds in Switzerland and they increase every year.
Hikers can encounter guardian dogs. The WWF, AGRIDEA and Pro Natura made a short film to learn how to behave when a guardian dog is encountered.
