Cascada de Rue
Rue, una de las ciudades más pequeñas de Europa, se alza en un paisaje de suaves colinas al pie del saliente de una roca. Desde esta villa medieval, con su castillo, se llega en un abrir y cerrar de ojos a las cascadas de la Broye (Chutes de Chavannettes): un paraje bello y apacible para disfrutar en familia, chapoteando en el río y relajarse. El río Broye nace en los Prealpes de Friburgo y fluye desde allí hacia el lago de Murten.
Perched on a rocky promontory and nestled in the region’s rolling hills, Rue is one of the smallest towns in Europe. The medieval town and castle are the starting point for the short walk to the Chavannettes waterfalls – a great place, on the banks of the Broye, for everyone to recharge their batteries. The river begins in the Fribourg Pre-Alps and flows to Lake Murten below.
