Quienes visiten la ciudad antigua de Friburgo podrán vivir una experiencia única: la visio guía «Frÿburg 1606» le remonta al año 1606. La aventura a través del tiempo comienza en la Oficina de Turismo de Friburgo, donde se alquila una tableta o se descarga la aplicación «Fribourg Tourisme AR» en el móvil. Con efectos de realidad aumentada, esta guía permite descubrir vistas en 360° de aquella época, admirar fortificaciones ya desaparecidas y conocer la vida cotidiana de la villa medieval. Puede, incluso, ayudar a los pobladores de la ciudad a resolver un problema. Un punto culminante del paseo es el Espace 1606, en el antiguo Werkhof, con la maqueta de 52 m² (1:250) de la ciudad vieja, que, según el plano de Martini de 1606, reproduce 1700 edificios, 17 metros de murallas, las orillas del río, puentes, fuentes, jardines, 3000 árboles y 2000 personas. La actividad grupal «El Secreto del Auge» completa la propuesta medieval en Friburgo.
Visitors to Fribourg’s Old Town can enjoy a fully immersive journey back to the Middle Ages thanks to the ‘Frÿburg 1606’ multimedia guide. Your time-travelling adventure starts at the Fribourg tourist office, where you can rent a tablet or download the ‘Fribourg Tourisme AR’ to your smartphone. Thanks to augmented reality technology, you will be able to explore the medieval alleyways, enjoy panoramic views, glimpse the fortifications that have long since disappeared and meet the locals. You can even help one of them resolve a mystery. The highlight of the tour is Espace 1606 in the Old Werkhof with its 52 m² scale model (1:250) of medieval Fribourg, based on the 1606 Martini plan of the town. The model captures 1,700 buildings, 17 metres of fortifications, the river banks, bridges, fountains, gardens, 3,000 trees and 2,000 figures. There is also the interactive ‘Secret of Auge’ mystery tour – a fun group activity that puts your sleuthing skills to the test.
