2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship 
The region Les Paccots–La Veveyse is a mountain bike paradise. But Schwarzsee, La Gruyère and the Glâne district also attract their fair share of mountain bike enthusiasts. Signposted trails come with information on the level of difficulty and duration. For seasoned bikers, route Panorama Bike is a must. It runs from Charmey to Les Paccots along the bottom of the imposing Moléson and Teysachaux mountains. The mountain bike obstacle course in Lussy as well as the BSO Bike Park in Plaffeien offer fun for all the family.
Most mountain bike routes can be combined with moments of pleasure or culture. For example, in Romont, where sports enthusiasts can taste a crêpe, or in Charmey, where the sporting effort is rewarded with a fondue. In the Lake Murten region, fish, tarts and marvellous views await mountain bikers.
