The 72-kilometre-long ‘Herzschlaufe Sense’ No. 299 has every chance of achieving cult status. The rolling Alpine foothills form natural river valleys with valuable pastureland, forests and hills and invite visitors to explore the area by e-bike or bicycle.
Once you’ve really got going, cycle on along the ‘Heart Route’ No. 99, either towards Lausanne or Rorschach. With 720 km, 12,000 metres of elevation gain, over 20 Old Towns and historic villages, the ‘Heart Route’ takes you through the most beautiful corners of picturesque Switzerland. On the Fribourg section of the route, cyclists discover the Three Lakes region around Murten, the countryside of the Broye district and the Glane district with Romont.
