The Sarine river and Lake Schiffenen are perfect for paddlers. There is also much to explore on and around Lake Gruyère. Kayaks and SUP boards can be hired in Corbières. Participants start from Morlon Beach via the Bird Island, past the Ogoz Island and on to the Rossens dam – a Gruyère symphony in dazzling blue and green. This is also the right address for a spin in a motorboat or a treasure hunt in a kayak.
In Estavayer-le-Lac, guided kayak tours offer a slightly different approach to the nature reserve of the Grande Cariçaie.
A kayak trip is also possible on Lake Murten thanks to various hire stations. Whether in Murten or Salavaux, alone or as a couple, with a view of Vully or Murten – the lake is calling!
