Three words to define it: swing, open air and free for all.
A small team of volunteer musicians, driven above all by passion, has worked throughout the year to uphold the spirit of the festival’s founders and offer jazz lovers unforgettable moments in the heart of our beautiful Gruyère region.
As the Château courtyard is under renovation, this 19th edition will take you back to the roots, with a warm and friendly stage set up in the authentic Music Pavilion on the Market Square of Bulle.
A marquee in front will shelter the audience in case of bad weather. A bar and food stand will provide refreshments and snacks, all in a musical atmosphere.
The festivities will kick off on Friday at 6 p.m. with four bands taking turns on stage.
On Saturday, a band will liven up the restaurant terraces from 2 p.m. onwards. The concerts will then continue from 5 p.m. on the Music Pavilion stage.
Once again this year, the Jazz Festival offers a great mix of New Orleans, Blues, and Boogie Woogie.
They look forward to welcoming many of you to share in the music and good times.
