The moving voice of Patrick Zian, Charles Aznavour’s official vocal double, will take you back to the legendary singer’s greatest hits: “Hier encore,” “La mamma,” “Je m’voyais déjà,” “Trousse chemise,” “Emmenez-moi,” “Les plaisirs démodés,” “La Bohème”… A lifelong fan of Aznavour’s work, Patrick Zian had the honor of meeting his mentor in 1997, who gave him permission to perform his songs with the utmost respect for their authenticity. Accompanied by Patrick Chadaillat, pianist for Charles Aznavour’s major tours.
The evening will also transport you to the heart of Armenia with Michèle Lubicz and her duduk, an iconic instrument with a deep, enchanting sound. Trained by the master Lévon Minassian, she weaves a true musical bridge between East and West.
Under the direction of Frédéric Zosso, the Union Instrumentale de Fribourg, a first-class wind ensemble, will take you on a musical journey across continents and cultures: soundscapes of the East, exotic songs, and vibrant folk dances. A refined program, designed as an invitation to escape, discover, and be moved.
The evening will be accompanied by small Armenian appetizers and a glass of Armenian red wine, all served at various times throughout the evening.
