Crossing the commune from west to east through fields and villages, with a view of the marshes, Lake Morat and the Alps, and then a more natural section along the Broye and through the Garinettes, you will discover numerous buildings full of history.
You will pass by the church and the communal bell tower in Villars-le-Grand, the church and the castle in Constantine, and the castle in Salavaux. Following the Broye River, you will see the church in the middle of the vineyards, and to its left the castle and school of Cotterd.
Vallamand-Dessous also has its castle, located on the right before heading towards Guévaux, a village shared by the Vaud-Fribourg cantonal border which has two mansions built on either side of the border.
