With its 150 hectares spread over two cantons (Vaud and Fribourg), Vully is the smallest vineyard in Switzerland and represents 1% of the country's wine-growing area. But its wines have acquired their letters of nobility in recent years and the AOC Vully has won over more than one fine palate.
There are three possible routes to take. Follow Viny along the "Chasselas" or "Pinot Noir" path or combine the two for a longer walk. In Vully-les-Lacs, a Balade Gourmande is organised every third Sunday in July to highlight the wines and culinary specialities of the region.
This easy walk can be enjoyed all year round. In winter the vine sleeps and regenerates, in spring it cries and comes to life, in summer it greens and grows, to let its colours and fruits burst out in autumn.
