Enjoy the beautiful landscape of Jaun on the "Gastlosen Trail". This moderately difficult loop offers several refreshment options along the way.
The start of the Gastlosen Trail is at the top of the Jaun cable car. Bikers then start the descent towards the bottom of the resort, first on a track to the "Hinteri Pilarda" chalet at 1344m, then along the scooter path. At the bridge over the Jaunbach (Jogne), the trail continues on a tarmac road with little traffic.
After passing the village of Jaun, the ascent begins for mountain bikers on a tarmacked mountain road. This road can be used by hikers and vehicles to reach the Chalet du Soldat car park. The climb continues through forests and pastures to the Buvette des Sattels. Renowned for its local cuisine and its unique setting, the Buvette welcomes mountain bikers who wish to soak up the ever-present nature. The trail ends shortly after the Buvette. The final stretch shows the Gastlosen in all its splendour.
Afterwards, bikers can retrace their steps back to the lift parking area.
