Ever year in spring, the medieval town comes to life on the first Sunday of May with about twenty market stalls and a lively musical vibe going on all day long.

Access
Choose public transportation
From major cities, take the train to Gruyères-Gare, at the foot of the hill.
From Gruyères station: in good weather, we recommend walking up the hill (a 15-minute walk), or taking bus #260 to the town (Gruyères-Ville)
By car: Plan ahead !
We recommend arriving before 11:30.
If the parking lots are full, follow the signs and instructions from the staff on site, who will direct you to other parking areas.
Epagny's parking available
From the free parking lot at the airfield in Epagny, you have two options:
1. Take bus #260 toward Gruyères-Ville; buses depart every hour (xx:11)
2. Walk along the marked trail (approx. 30 min)
