The Yermak Duo takes its name from a Russian and then Soviet icebreaker and sums up the experience offered by Romain Gachet and Steve Fragnière. A musical journey to different horizons, tinged with blues, rock, tango, jazz, traditional Fribourg music, and a thousand other musical places.

Following the release of their album Bi payi in 2022, Duo Yermak invited the quintet L'Amitié Chantante to participate in the Chante bi payi project, specially designed for the 2023 Altitudes Festival. It is only natural for the duo that their connection to traditional Fribourg singing should lead them to such an encounter. In addition, the female duo Zita Félixe (Amélie and Mathilde Cochard) and Sarah Fragnière will honor them with their presence as guests.
