This 16th-century building now houses an art gallery where many artists and artisans exhibit their works from Easter to mid-October.
The meeting of Brigitte Knecht, Nathalie Hirschi and Noro Kläy gave rise to the idea of presenting their works together in the unique setting of the Galerie du Calvaire. Through sculpture, modelling, ceramics and paper cutting, this exhibition brings together three complementary artistic universes in a sensitive dialogue between materials and forms.
Nathalie Hirschi’s minimalist ceramic works invite the viewer to complete the piece through personal perception, while Brigitte Knecht develops an intuitive approach to stoneware, guided by gesture and the energy of the moment. Noro Kläy reinterprets the traditional paper cutting of the Pays-d’Enhaut with a contemporary perspective, notably exploring the theme of the forest.
An exhibition that invites visitors to discover three distinctive yet complementary approaches, balancing reinterpreted tradition and personal expression.
