Nature, the foundation of our living conditions and our food, also has intrinsic value.
Considering these countless services is crucial for shifting from an exploitation-based view of nature to an approach of coexistence and sustainability. Emmanuel Reynard, professor at the University of Lausanne, and Adrienne Grêt Regamey, professor at ETH, are popularising the findings of the ValPar.CH research programme (2021-2025), which focuses on the values of nature in Switzerland and for which the Park served as a pilot study area.
