Military movements, trade routes, or pilgrimages of artists in search of inspiration – the men and women of yesteryear have continuously travelled, exchanged, and discovered the world. From the Middle Ages to the 19th century, allow yourself to be swept away into adventure and meet these travellers of old, the true globe-trotters of their time.
