An educational trail around the honey bee.
FreeTheBees' mission is to support the honey bee and help it to find its rightful place in nature. On the one hand, by creating cavities in trees to compensate for the lack of natural habitats, and on the other, by educating and training beekeepers and nature lovers about the situation of bees in our environment and natural beekeeping practices.
Over the years, Vaulruz has become a focal point for a number of specific projects. So it's an ideal, practical place to inform the public, and that's how the idea for the Discovery Trail came about.
