Located on the south face of the Gibloux, our snowshoe trails offer an idyllic setting in winter. Between peat bogs, pastures and forests, you might think you are in Lapland. The view of the Moléson and the Pre-Alps is there to remind us that we are in Gruyère. Various starting points are accessible by car from Riaz, Marsens, Sorens (TPF Bus) and Maules.
Discover the longest loop of the NRGI, the Black Trail!
From the Chalet-Neuf, turn left and walk along the clearing that appears in front of you. Cross the edge of the forest and go up to the crossing then follow signpost B to reach the "Prâ Boû" point. Follow the path through the forest until you see a clearing that will lead you to point C "Devin Dessus". After a short climb, you will see a superb panorama overlooking the Vuadens region, Vaulruz, with the Moléson as a backdrop. Once out of the forest, join the sign D of "Prâ Pèjé". Then, after having passed 3 chalets over a distance of 2.5 km, you arrive at point E and the connection to the car park of "Sur les Monts". Continue between the fir trees up to point F of the "Reservoir". Finally, continue your track in a straight line towards point G then towards the Chalet-Neuf buvette.
