On June 1st and 2nd, 2024, immerse yourself in Double Cream in Gruyères! Between tasting and traditions, the weekend promises to be delicious!

Welcome to the Double Cream Festival in Gruyères!

We invite you to join us on June 1st and 2nd in the medieval town of Gruyères to celebrate a regional culinary treasure: Double Cream.

With the festival pass, immerse yourself in a unique culinary experience. Explore our town and discover the Double Cream specialties offered by local restaurateurs. This pass grants you access to a festival of flavors and provides exclusive discounts.

Take advantage of special rates during the weekend to explore the iconic museums of Gruyères and save up to 11.- per adult*. Additionally, enjoy a 10% discount in the town's shops and on the purchase of Double Cream. *Participating museums include (discount based on the price of an adult entry):

~11.15am : Poya (cow procession) through Gruyères (Tourist Office - Church)
12.30pm : Feldschlosschen beer float pulled by horses
~3.30pm : Poya through Gruyères (Church - Tourist Office)
3.45pm : Guests: Musée de la machine agricole de Grandfontaine (JU)
2pm-4pm : Book signing by Monique Durussel - ‘La crème double: Du chalet au palais’ (Double cream: from the chalet to the palate)

We invite visitors who are wishing to visit the festival to use public transport if possible.
TRAIN: Line S50 - Gruyères stop, station
BUS: Line 263 between Gruyères, station and Gruyères, city

Visitors travelling by car are asked to follow the instructions of the security guards on site (roads will be diverted and additional car parks created, with a shuttle bus system). The festival organisation declines all responsibility in the event of illegal parking.
